Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Lead for a growing IT team in Fox Valley, Wisconsin. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing our Help Desk team, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services, and providing exceptional support to our end users. This is a Lead By Example role and does not have any direct reports.
Responsibilities:
• Streamline and manage our metrics data tool to ensure efficient operations
• Enhance our knowledge base to maximize its value for end users
• Provide leadership to the Help Desk team, setting an example of excellent service
• Manage the backlog of support tickets, ensuring timely resolution
• Reestablish connections with end users with unresolved or outdated tickets
• Deliver high-quality level 1-3 support to our end users
• Manage IT services for new hires, terminations, and user additions or deletions
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft products and Active Directory
• Utilize soft skills to provide customer service and team leadership
• Create a collaborative, welcoming atmosphere for end users
• Troubleshoot desktop/device (hardware and software) issues efficiently.
Requirements
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Help Desk or in a similar role within the banking industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Knowledge of networking and active directory.
• Familiarity with computer hardware and configuration management.
• Experience in deployments, deskside support, and PC desktop - workstation.
• Proficient in windows workstation, workstation hardware, and workstation support.
• Ability to manage and maintain workstations.
• Experience in handling service desk tickets.
• Proficient in using ticketing systems.
• Ability to manage and resolve trouble tickets and support tickets.
