Robert Half is seeking a Network Architect /Technical Lead
Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Network Architect and Technical Lead is responsible for designing, maintaining, and managing the IT network systems, including LAN, WAN, and Data Center networks.
The Network Architect and Technical Lead takes business strategy and defines an IT network systems architecture to support that strategy.
The Network Architect and Technical Lead assists the organization with interpreting, using, and applying the information contained within IT architecture deliverables to inform a range of business improvement activities, particularly those involved in designing, developing, enhancing, implementing, and maintaining network technology platforms.
The Network Architect and Technical Lead ensures the interoperability and sustainability of the technology ecosystem from an infrastructure and network architecture perspective.
The Network Architect also ensures that all new platforms, systems, applications, and integrations fit within the organization's ecosystem's overall architecture from various perspectives, including but not limited to security, infrastructure, applications, and data systems.

The successful Network Architect / Technical Lead will have:
Possession of a current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Cisco Certified Network Professional Certification (CCNP) is a plus
Seven (7) years of experience in Network and Information technology to include experience in:
•Configuring and supporting advanced WAN protocols, including BGP and HDLC
•Designing and implementing Software-Defined Networks in an enterprise environment
•Network Automation tools such as Ansible
•VMWare NSXT in support of micro-segmentation and disaster failover
Design, implement, test, and prove disaster recovery designs and plans experience preferred.
SD WAN is a plus
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university;
Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
