Description

We are in the search for a Credit and Collections Manager to join our team based in Annapolis, Maryland. This role involves managing and pursuing collections, as well as supervising a collections team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume accounts collection and familiarity with accounting software systems and ERP solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee collections process

• Lead and motivate the Collections Team to achieve set goals

• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding debts and bad debt losses

• Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, resolving any issues or disputes related to outstanding accounts

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, establish credit limits, and recommend appropriate credit terms and payment plans

• Prepare regular reports on collection activities

• Manage collections on high-volume accounts

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions to streamline processes

• Leverage knowledge of billing functions and collection processes to optimize credit and credit limit management

• Handle customer credit inquiries and maintain accurate customer credit records.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience with ERP Solutions and Great Plains (GPAC)

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Understanding of Billing Functions and Collection Processes

• Knowledge of Credit and Credit Limit management

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience with ERP Solutions is required

• Proficiency in IBM AS/400 will be an added advantage

• Ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Thorough understanding of Collection Processes

• Strong knowledge of Credit processes

• Experience in managing Credit Limit
