Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Arlington, Texas
Description Join a team of highly skilled, motivated professionals as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk through this opportunity offered by Robert Half. In this position, you will be required to manage all general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. You will work closely and report to the Accounting Manager. The primary focus of this role is matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Based out of the Arlington, Texas area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / contract opening.

Carry out additional projects as required
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Assist with internal and external audits as needed
Implement full-cycle A/P
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
