Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Application Support Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, and designing all operational activities of the applications department. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support for solutions that enhance mission-critical firm operations, ensuring superior service delivery to our clients, attorneys, advisors, and staff. Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities:
Analyze firm workflow to identify opportunities for improving efficiencies through application enhancements.
Serve as project manager for all deployments and enhancement initiatives, coordinating with vendors and IT resources as needed.
Provide guidance and expertise on application implementation, documentation, design, and testing.
Ensure that applications meet firm requirements, fulfill end-user needs, and resolve systems issues promptly.
Collaborate with practice groups to identify software solutions that enhance lawyer and staff productivity.
Cultivate and share knowledge of application usage and best practices across the organization.
Work with the training team to ensure timely and effective training for existing and newly deployed software applications.
Analyze documentation and technical specifications of new applications to ensure alignment with firm requirements.
Manage and provide direction for the application support team, ensuring alignment with firm operations.
Compile and maintain the service catalog to support firm operations and service delivery.
Conduct research on products, services, policies, and standards to support procurement and development efforts.
Coordinate and lead monthly after-maintenance testing activities.
Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure products and services.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and provide input for process improvement initiatives.
Ensure adequate documentation of all strategies, processes, and procedures related to application implementation.

Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in application support or a related role, with demonstrated project management experience.
Strong technical proficiency in application implementation, documentation, design, and testing.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Commitment to providing superior service to clients, attorneys, advisors, and staff.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
