Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Operations Specialist in the Mortgage Lending industry, based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role focuses on reviewing and managing loan details, administrative tasks, participating in finance and accounting training, and contributing to process improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of loan details
• Assist in administrative tasks and office management activities
• Participate actively in training sessions for finance and accounting procedures
• Develop and apply analytical skills to contribute to improvements in operational processes
• Use data entry skills to maintain and update loan records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and numerical data entry
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to credit accounts
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately. Requirements • Proficiency in Data Entry, including numeric data entry
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Prior experience in a mortgage lending support role or similar financial support role
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
• Familiarity with mortgage lending processes and regulations
• High standard of integrity and confidentiality to handle sensitive information
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
