Robert Half Staff Accountant in Baltimore, Maryland

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Staff Accountant in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and conducting analysis and account reconciliations. You will assist with the preparation of financial statements and auditing information across various entities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports

• Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately

• Perform comprehensive analysis and account reconciliations

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for various entities

• Prepare information for audits

• Utilize and manage a variety of accounting software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel

• Execute tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) such as code invoices and approved invoices

• Conduct regular bank and credit card reconciliations

• Perform daily financial reconciliations

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of month-end close procedures

• Review and analyze financial statements on a monthly basis

• Manage payroll processes and procedures. Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Ability to make accurate Journal Entries

• Knowledge of Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Skilled in using Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel

• Capable of Code Invoices and Approved Invoices

• Experience with Credit Card Reconciliation, Cash Reconciliations, Daily Reconciliation, and Expense Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Financial Reconciliation, Bank Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge of Financial Statement analysis and preparation

• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements, Review Financial Statements, and prepare Monthly Financial Statements

• Familiarity with Financial Statement Preparation and Financial Statements Consolidation

• Knowledge of General Journal management and Adjusting Journal Entries

• Familiarity with Ledger Journal Entries, Month-end Journal Entries, and Posting Journal Entries

• Experience in Payroll management

• Ability to Post Journal Entries and Prepare Journal Entries.
