Robert Half is seeking a senior Software Developer for large global organization. Job responsibilities include: Actively participates on projects, working with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to complete product development tasks. Analyzing, developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining high quality software solutions as required. Conducts code reviews and perform component, visual, functional, and automated testing. Works with Technical Support to reproduce and resolve customer issues as required. 5-7 years of experience. Required skill sets:

  • Proficient Skills in these technologies:

  • Coding IDE – i.e. Visual Studio

  • .NET

  • Mainline Programming Language – i.e. C#, JavaScript, Python, etc.

  • Web technologies such as RESTful Services, Web API, JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, etc.

  • JSON and/or XML exposure

  • MS Office suite including collaboration w/ OneNote

  • Source control and project management (TFS and Git preferred)

  • Basic knowledge of AD/LDAP

  • Proficient in source control practices and patterns (Git workflow, branching/merging, etc.)

  • Ability to provide and review estimates; Agile estimation and planning strongly preferred

  • Ability to create and review technical designs

  • Experience working with relational databases (SQL/Oracle) with strong SQL and stored procedure development knowledge

  • Ability and willingness to provide day-to-day 24x7 application support

  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment

  • Ability to plan and carrying out responsibilities with minimal direction

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in fast pace environment supporting internal and external customers Preferred:

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Experience with cloud-native technologies

  • Experience in conducting code reviews

  • Experience in conducting design reviews for object oriented or service based design

  • Ability to quickly learn and analyze business processes, working closely with users, business analysts and project managers

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally

  • Basic knowledge of Reporting tools (SQL Reporting Services, SpotFire, Power BI)

  • Basic knowledge of single sign-on technologies

  • Ability to create and read UML Diagrams
