Robert Half Payroll Clerk in Beaver, Pennsylvania
Description Do you have strong communication skills and a desire to grow your career trajectory? Our client has an opening for a skilled Payroll Clerk who will thrive as part of the Payroll department's team. Based in the Beaver, Pennsylvania area, this position would be needed on a permanent basis. Duties include entering data, reconciling timecards, distributing paychecks, and providing statements to various departments. You will put your communication skills to good use as you work with both internal team members and outside customers.
How you will make an impact
Maintain office efficiency by fulfilling clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.
Train and instruct employees in the proper use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.
Collect and organize timesheet approvals by contacting employees via email and phone
Administer reports as instructed and make them easily accessible by distributing them
Build and run custom reports
Gather data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
Other duties as assigned Requirements - Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
2+ years of previous payroll experience
Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
Payroll experience required
Data entry experience
Deep understanding of Time and attendance
Skilled in Payroll software
Eagerness to master new systems
Strong communication and social skills
