Senior Accountant/Accounting mgr. for family office on Westside

We are offering an opportunity for a diligent Sr. Accountant for a Family Office in Beverly Hills, California. In this role, you will be responsible for recording all financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and maintaining the integrity of financial data. You will also be involved in budget preparation and audit processes. A CPA is required for this role. This role is a hybrid working schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Record all investments, trades, assets, and real estate transactions

• Breakdown spending/costs and maintain the general ledger

• Use advanced Excel skills for Pivot Tables, Look-ups, Heavy Reconciliations, Projections, and preparing personal statements (Art, Cash, Investments)

• Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions

• Prepare balance sheets and income statements

• Track and reconcile bank statements

• Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs)

• Process tax payments and invoices

• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed

• Provide administrative support during budget preparation

• Participate in quarterly and annual audits.

Requirements • Must hold a Senior Accountant role for at least five years

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in General Ledger management

• Skilled in Journal Entries creation and management

• Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Experienced in performing Month End Close

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• Knowledge and experience in Alternative Investments

• Demonstrated skill in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Must have the ability to work independently and in a team

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Must be detail-oriented and organized

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
