Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Birmingham, Alabama. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate entry of financial data into our accounting system. This role operates within a small office environment, collaborating closely with the finance team to maintain accurate records, verify entries, and resolve discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately input transaction details from paper documents into digital spreadsheets.
• Update and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Verify and reconcile entries to ensure the accuracy of data.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and summaries.
• Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies in the data.
• Ensure compliance with data integrity and privacy policies.
• Use your 10 Key Skills to perform calculations and organize files.
• Handle customer service inquiries and email correspondence using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Utilize your data entry skills to maintain accurate customer credit records.
