Robert Half Office Services Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking an Office Services Manager for our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves coordinating the workflow, supervising and developing staff, and providing support to attorneys when required. The job function primarily revolves around legal support and office management.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily attorney coverage in the Boston, Massachusetts office

• Implement and revise workflow procedures to ensure efficiency

• Supervise, train, and develop staff to maintain a high-performing team

• Provide support to attorneys to handle work overflow, trial preparation, urgent deadlines, and staff vacations

• Maintain knowledge of Court filing procedures in the New England area State and Federal Courts

• Utilize strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

• Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites to manage tasks and communication

• Maintain a proactive and collaborative work style to ensure smooth operation

• Familiarize with document management systems to manage and store documents efficiently

• Travel to local offices as needed to ensure consistent operation and communication. Requirements • Proven experience in office management, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word.

• Familiarity with 'About Time' management system.

• Experience in budget processes and financial management.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

• Excellent documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Knowledge of facility management and upkeep.

• Background in litigation processes, including court filing procedures.

• Ability to create, implement, and maintain office systems and processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide team members.

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
