Description
Senior Accountants or small company Accounting Managers looking to work for a successful organization that will recognize their efforts will be interested in Robert Half's opportunity work with a thriving company. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including month-end close, financial reporting, and analysis. This role will report directly to the Director of Finance and will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and financial statements are accurate
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning
Manage and develop accounting staff, including setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Management from an accredited college or university required. MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
Healthcare and/or Education background preferred.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel essential.
Excellent organizational and time management skills required.
Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
