Description

Robert Half is working with a reputable construction company in Brooklyn, NY to hire their next Office and Compliance Manager. This person must have construction office management experience specializing in safety compliance. Expertise includes acquiring necessary OSHA certifications, maintaining up-to-date insurances, and ensuring high safety standards across all job sites. Highly proficient in identifying, ordering, and managing crucial supplies for construction sites including safety gear like hard hats. This person will also answer phones, order office supplies, snack and basic administrative duties,

Key skills and competencies include:

  1. Robust knowledge of construction safety regulations and compliance, backed by appropriate OSHA certifications.

  2. Extensive experience in procuring insurances necessary for on-site safety and legal compliance.

  3. Proven track record in ordering and managing supplies for construction sites, ensuring all necessary equipment is on hand when needed.

  4. Strong understanding of construction operations, with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address issues.

  5. Excellent skills in communication, leadership and problem-solving.

  6. Ability to effectively manage office functions, including administrative duties, scheduling, and record-keeping.

  7. Thorough familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other management software, facilitating efficient workflow.

  8. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times.

  9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
