Description
Our client is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Revenue Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team in NYC. In this role, you will take charge of their revenue accounting function, ensuring that revenue transactions are recorded accurately and promptly in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606 standards. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, and other departments to provide guidance on complex revenue transactions and ensure accurate and timely recognition. As the Revenue Accounting Manager, you will direct the monthly revenue close process, ensuring all revenue-related activities are completed accurately and supported by thorough documentation. Lastly, you will manage the selection, implementation, and ongoing upkeep of systems and tools related to revenue, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business. Requirements
-BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-6+ years of experience in revenue accounting, ASC 606 experience required
-CPA preferred
