Description
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team in NYC. In this role, you will be responsible for various financial activities crucial to the smooth operation and accuracy of financial records and reporting. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, and has a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures, which include preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheets, and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards. In addition, as the Senior Accountant, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate revenue and expense accruals and to analyze financial statement fluctuations, contributing to a deeper understanding of the company's financial performance. Requirements
-BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-3+ years of experience, public accounting experience preferred
-CPA preferred
