Description
This role is vital in our organization as it supports different departments by providing insightful analyses and recommendations on business and operational strategies. The role involves active participation in strategic decision-making processes and is crucial in driving improvements in our operations. Strong problem-solving, managerial, and communication skills are crucial for this role. They will be responsible for evaluating business processes, using data-driven insights to anticipate requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Their duties typically include reviewing and analyzing company processes and solutions, conducting research to find the best practices, performing cost and benefit analyses, creating detailed business analysis reports, and presenting recommended changes to the management. They may also lead ongoing reviews of business processes, monitor project progress by tracking and managing changes, and conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
Duties
Drive data-informed decisions through in-depth analysis.
Collaborate with assigned department for strategic and analytical decision support.
Contribute as an integral team member.
Become proficient within the assigned department by understanding its strategic, tactical, and operational goals.
Facilitate efficient communication channels.
Propose improvements for strategic and operational processes proactively.
Oversee existing and potential metrics and reports: ensure cohesive logic related to essential metrics across all analyses and reports, manage data dictionary, collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to maintain logic consistency across different platforms, recommend new metrics to business stakeholders.
Facilitate regular strategic meeting with designated departments to uncover and analyze areas for improvement and collaborate on solution.
Formulate innovative methods to observe and monitor data to maximize value and minimize risk.
Handle annual budget responsibilities, including forecasting, analyzing, and modeling.
Manage multiple strategic initiatives concurrently and meet competing deadlines.
Conduct routine reporting and situational analysis.
Requirements
Requirements
An undergraduate degree in Analytics, Finance, Business Administration, or any other discipline involving quantitative analysis.
A minimum of four years of experience as an analyst
Proficient Excel skills, including the capability to design and build models.
Experience in managing large volumes of data, which involves defining query logic, querying, validating, cleansing, and analyzing data.
Proficiency in using Business Intelligence tools like Power BI is preferred.
Practical experience in formulating new SQL queries and scrutinizing existing ones.
