Description
Brianna Zakala with Robert Half is looking for a talented and goal-oriented Bookkeeper in the Caledonia area! The Bookkeeper is in charge of data entry, full cycle A/P, and cash applications. On top of this, you will manage month-end closing, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and accounts payable. How you will make an impact
Group sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Sustain Accounts Payable
Draw up cash flow projections, as needed
Support monthly accounting close
Operate monthly accounting close
Keep general ledger updated
Assemble subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation
Oversee Accounts Receivable
Work on special projects occasionally
Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Remarkable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills
Highly organized and self-motivated
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
