Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Carrollton, Texas
Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Carrollton, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including service billing, coordinating with cities on permits and scheduling inspections, and conducting light collections for the service side of our business. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of accounts receivable.
• Coordinate with cities on permits and scheduling inspections.
• Conduct light collections for the service side of our business.
• Handle service billing on a daily basis.
• Process monthly billing on the 25th of each month.
• Handle billing for fire system services or installations.
• Utilize accounting software systems such as Sage and Microsoft Office to perform duties.
• Perform check processing and manage cash activity.
• Utilize accounting functions to ensure accuracy in all transactions.
• Maintain detailed and accurate billing records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC)
• Experience with IBM AS/400
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Knowledge of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing Functions
• Experience in managing Cash Activity
• Knowledge of Check Processing
• Must adhere to company's policies and procedures
• Proactive in identifying issues and presenting solutions
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Willingness to take on additional tasks as required
