Robert Half Property Accountant in Charleston, South Carolina
Description Our reputable client is seeking a Property Accountant to join the company. The Property Accountant should have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems, as well as experience in accounting and property management. How you will make an impact
Analyze financial data and summarize in a clear, useful manner
Work up intricate account reconciliations and journal entries
Maintain payment schedules, including capital lease
Maintain fixed-asset ledger, depreciation and reconciliation
Help with the implementation of internal controls, as well as maintenance and adherence
Support management reporting by preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses
Assemble monthly, quarterly and year end financial statements/reporting packages Requirements
General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred
Super organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset are a must
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
Sound understanding of industry specific accounting software
Previous experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
Multi-Entity or Multi-Location Accounting preferred
