Exciting full-time consulting opportunity for a Staff Accountant with 5+ years of experience. Position entails: Analyzing balance sheet accounts such as inventory, equipment, etc. and on the basis of analysis prepare year-end accruals; general ledger accounting; preparing inventory variance analysis reports and analyzing variances; work-in-progress inventory and finished goods stock to account for the raw materials purchased and produced; developing cost standards for materials and labor, summarizing unit cost information for all product lines; analyzing necessity and preparation of all inventory-related journal entries at month-end, including adjusting entries, if necessary; developing depreciation schedules using assigned depreciation rates; supervising/performing audit function of physical inventories.
