Robert Half Technology Systems Engineer in Charlotte, North Carolina
We are seeking a high energy, self-motivated and detail oriented Systems Engineer to join our team!! This position is responsible for the Agency's System Applications to include but not limited to Medusa Electronic Patient Care Reporting software, TriTech Software Systems CAD, VMWare, Informatica, EMC Sans, Site Recovery Manager, Backup Exec/Data Domains, UCS Cisco Servers, Exchange 2013 and Rightfax. This individual is required to maintain and have full understanding current production systems integration in addition to the following:
Serves as a SQL Administrator. Responsible for SQL (2005, 2008, 2012) environment; installation, security, testing and implementation of maintenance plans, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery measures are in place.
Serves as Network and Active Directory System Administrator.
Monitor environment system performance.
Responsible for maintaining and development of technical Recovery Plans and take part in technical recovery for major system failures.
Analyzes and resolve issues associated with host of complex applications such as Medusa Electronic Patient Care Reporting software, TriTech Software Systems CAD, Informatica, OnBase, Rightfax, PageGate, and others.
Serves as a liaison between IT and operations/clinical staff for technology/process initiatives involving integration between systems.

MCITP certification SQL Server 2005, 2008 or 2012
Proven SQL Administrator experience.
Experience with System Integration.
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in small team environment, both internally and with several of the Agency's vendor partners.
Must have a strong desire to develop an understanding of the Agency's key systems in order to support and maintain application functionality.
Must be highly organized.
Skills in the use of the Servers, PC's, laptops, modems and fax.
Strong telephone and interpersonal contact skills required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or three to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five or more years of intense work-related experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008 and 2012. Other software packages including Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012; Windows 7; Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010 including Microsoft Access; Linux, VMware 5.5, EMC SAN and Recovery Point, Microsoft Exchange 2013, Informatica, WSUS, and VMware Site Recovery Manager.
