Tier III Systems/Network Administrator Our client was established in 2003 to manage the IT for small to medium?sized business in North and South Carolina, primarily in the Charlotte metro area. We are looking to fill a full time position that both has technical responsibilities and some business development/management opportunities. The main focus of this position will be to act as the primary point of contact for a number of our more technologically complex customers. You will be supporting end user IT requests both over the phone and by email from a variety of different customers. Additionally, you will be performing support of multi?server environments, often using Hyper?V & VMWare. Candidates must have the ability to clearly communicate technical issues in a manner that non?technical people can understand. The ability to multitask and respond quickly to client requests is crucial for this position. An ideal candidate for this position will also have interest in business development. We are looking to actively expand our customer base. This position will have the opportunity to generate new business to earn additional compensation. Managing basic business operations is not a requirement of this position, but will be strongly encouraged for the candidate with the right skill set. We are looking for a candidate that wants to be more than a technician. Working hours will typically be Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm. Some after?hours work will be required, but not frequent. Primarily working from the office in Charlotte, but onsite service at the client's location will be required occasionally. Very little travel outside the Charlotte metro area.   • Experience with Dell computers & servers

  • Utilizing smart switches for load balancing, vLANs, traffic priority, etc.
