We are in search of a meticulous and efficient Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Logistics industry based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role primarily involves handling payable invoices, utilizing Microsoft Excel, and performing high-volume data entry tasks. The role also necessitates the ability to swiftly learn and adapt to new systems and processes, maintain precision in repetitive tasks, and consistently meet deadlines. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Process payable invoices accurately and promptly.
• Carry out high-volume data entry tasks with precision.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks and data management.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Meet daily reports and deadlines efficiently.
• Track and manage inventory accounting.
• Uphold reliability in handling daily inflow of information and ensuring it is accurately entered and tracked.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure correct information dissemination.
Requirements
• Proficiency in handling payable invoices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with high-volume data entry
• Knowledge of inventory accounting
• Prior experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
