Description
Robert Half is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to join a reputable law firm in downtown Chicago. Candidates must have at least 3+ years of experience supporting litigation attorneys. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of pleadings and motions.
Conduct legal research and effectively summarize findings.
Manage and organize case files and client documents.
Draft correspondence and legal documents.
Maintain case schedules and calendars.
Assist in the discovery process, including drafting responses and preparing exhibits.
Coordinate and assist in deposition and trial preparation.
Ensure compliance with legal deadlines and court-specific rules.
Provide assistance in arbitration and mediation when necessary.
Liaising with clients for updates, scheduling, and gathering relevant information.
Foster good relationships with clients, judicial personnel, peers and the public.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Paralegal role.
Experience in trial preparation and conducting depositions.
Familiarity with legal terminologies and principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
