Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Financial Services industry located in Chicago, Illinois. This role is for a Senior Accountant, where you will play a crucial role in our GAAP financial reporting, including the preparation of audited annual and quarterly reports. You will also have the opportunity to assist with acquisitions and other ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of journal entries

• Account reconciliations

• Analyses as required for financial reporting

• Assisting with acquisitions and other ad hoc projects

• Maintaining attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize, multitask and think critically in a fast-paced environment

• Communicating effectively through excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• License as a CPA

• Utilization of public accounting skills. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry

• Eligibility for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure is required

• Prior experience in Public Accounting is a must

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
