Description
Robert Half is working with a a well established Cleveland client looking for an Accounts Payable and Expenditure Specialist. This position will be responsible for managing the full process of accounts payable from procurement to payment. This role will involve creating and implementing policies and procedures, analyzing reports and costs of goods, and performing reconciliations and auditing invoice payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of high-volume accounts payable processing experience, with a college degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software is also preferred. This is permanent, direct-hire opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full process of accounts payable, including processing invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to accounts payable and expenditures
Analyze reports and costs of goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Reconcile vendor statements and audit invoice payments to vendors
Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes as they relate to accounts payable
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume accounts payable processing
College degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
