Job Description

• Leads, manages, and participates in the development of data processing pipelines that support the organization, management, transformation, and aggregation of market research data. This role may also troubleshoot IT infrastructure issues, as needed. Proactive administration, maintenance and management of cloud infrastructure. Liaising and working alongside 3rd-party suppliers. Developing, maintaining and implementing appropriate industry-standard best practices. Design, planning, management, maintenance and support of GCP (Google Cloud).

Essential Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following key skills and experience: -

Proven track record in a similar role supporting and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines to support analytics and reporting activities.

• Python, SQL and other modern best in class data pipeline and analytic technologies and frameworks

• Google, AWS or Azure Cloud certification

• Deep knowledge of version control.

• Sound knowledge of operating Systems (like LINUX/CENTOS/UNIX).

• Should be aware of DevOps concepts and best practices.

• CI/CD implementation expertise.

• Minimum 5 year of hands-on experience in related cloud technologies.

• A solid understanding of networking principles

• Knowledge of up-to-date security standards and demonstrated ability to adhere to these principles

• Familiarity with ITIL framework¬¬¬

• Utilize infrastructure as code solutions such as GitHub Actions, Terraform and pipelines to provision resources and deploy solutions in an automated, repeatable manner

• Good communication skills

• Analytical skills to design, compare and recommend solutions.

• Agile project management and tracking skills to manage vendors and small tasks, integrated with your team’s development activities from sprint to sprint.
