Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Culver City, California
Description
An outstanding opportunity in Culver City Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team at a premier company. The Accounts Payable Clerk will resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match, batch, and code invoices. This position requires people who have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting and its principles, hands on, and the ability to think on your feet.
Key responsibilities
Fulfill full-cycle A/P
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
Carry out additional projects as required
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Requirements - Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
High attention to detail
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Proficiency in Excel Formulas
Pivot Table experience highly desired
Foundational knowledge in VLOOKUP
Quickbooks Online experience
2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
