Robert Half ACO Compliance Analyst in Dallas, Texas

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Medical Claims Analyst based in Dallas, Texas.. This role is within the healthcare industry and requires managing and performing compliance assurance activities, conducting reviews, and maintaining effective working relationships with compliance personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct compliance assurance activities to determine adherence to internal controls, education/training requirements, and established policies and procedures.

• Perform complex assurance reviews of compliance activities according to standards, metrics, compliance plans, and departmental policies.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls used by the department and adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.

• Assist in drafting compliance reports, including development of findings and recommendations for specific remedial actions.

• Prepare work papers to support work performed, findings, and recommendations included in compliance reports.

• Assist in investigations of policy breaches or other acts of non-compliance to determine the cause, extent of loss, and mechanisms for prevention.

• Maintain effective working relationships with compliance personnel to achieve objectives of assurance-related assignments.

• Stay updated on current developments in compliance.

• Develop and maintain compliance-related education and training materials and conduct training sessions on compliance-related topics when necessary.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with documentation processes

• Knowledge of health care audits, specifically with Medicare and Medicaid

• Familiarity with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)

• Understanding of Medicare and Medicare Risk Adjustment

• Experience in compliance functions, compliance metrics, and compliance reporting

• Prior experience in the healthcare industry.
