LITIGATION ATTORNEY

Our client, a national law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their dynamic litigation team in Dallas, Texas. This role is well-suited to an individual with experience in civil litigation, particularly within the fields of general liability and casualty defense. Our client base spans a range of industries, from energy and construction to technology and transportation. The successful candidate will be actively involved in all aspects of case management, from initiation to conclusion, in both state and federal courts.

Responsibilities:

• Take initiative in managing cases from start to finish in both state and federal courts.

• Draft pleadings, written discovery, and motions with precision and accuracy.

• Maintain frequent communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and questions are answered.

• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations.

• Coordinate and collaborate with expert witnesses to gather and present evidence.

• Attend depositions, court hearings, and mediations as required.

• Prepare for and attend trials, providing reliable support throughout the process.

• Utilize skills in civil litigation, construction defect, insurance defense litigation, legal research, and legal writing.

• Demonstrate knowledge of trial preparation, trial attendance, arguing motions, law & motion, and drafting pleadings.

• Put to use legal knowledge and expertise as a licensed attorney with a Juris Doctor degree, experienced in both state and federal courts.

Requirements

• JD.

• Licensed attorney, eligible to practice in the state.

• Proven experience in civil litigation and construction defect litigation.

• Proficiency in insurance defense litigation.

• Strong skills in legal research and legal writing.

• Demonstrated ability in trial preparation and trial attendance.

• Experience in arguing motions and practicing law & motion.

• Ability to draft pleadings and manage legal pleadings.

• Familiarity with state and federal court systems.
