Robert Half Client Accountant (Accounting Services) in DALLAS, Texas
Description Your main responsibilities in this position would include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates with strong analytical skills and a preference for challenging and fast-paced work environments will be successful in this position. Excellent compensation is just part of the package. Your responsibilities
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in accounting required
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Skilled with ERP systems
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
Able to manage time well
Microsoft Word experience
Strong familiarity with Public Accounting
General familiarity with Financial Statement
Adeptness in Programs Outlook
Practical knowledge of depreciation
Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
Microsoft Excel experience highly desired
Quickbooks ProAdvisor experience required
Demonstrated knowledge of Lacerte Tax Software

Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
