Our Law Firm client has an exciting opportunity for a Family Law Paralegal to join their team in Dallas, Texas. This role involves handling various aspects of family law. The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and manage pleadings, motions, discovery responses, orders, inventories, and correspondence

• Maintain organized schedules and provide timely reminders for deadlines

• Undertake administrative duties, including calendaring hearings, trials, pretrial deadlines, and organizing case files

• Review and organize documents, exhibits, evidence, and case pleadings

• Aid attorneys with discovery requests and preparation of hearings and trials

• Communicate effectively with clients, other attorneys and staff, and court staff

• Organize and electronically file pleadings and serve documents

• Assist attorneys with case management from beginning to end

• Utilize Westlaw Form Builder and other software tools to fulfill job duties

• Apply legal knowledge, terminology, and writing skills in daily tasks

• Manage deadlines in a timely manner and work well under pressure.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using Westlaw

• Experience in Family Law

• Ability to handle Exhibits and Legal Pleadings

• Demonstrated ability to Draft Legal Documents

• Strong Legal Knowledge and understanding of Legal Terminology

• Excellent Legal Writing skills

• Experience in managing Hearings

• Proficiency in Calendar - Docket management

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• High attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
