Description
We are seeking a well-versed and meticulous Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The role involves providing comprehensive support to the Lead Partner and Associate in the areas of real estate acquisition, development, and disposition. This is an in-office position with an opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement with tenure upon approval.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and track all aspects of acquisition, development, disposition of real estate and tenant leasing in a networked environment.
• Handle contract management including the preparation of contract abstracts and closing checklists, calculation and calendar contract deadlines, critical dates, and key document obligations.
• Create transaction summaries using Microsoft Excel to track the current status of all open transactions.
• Review title and survey documents; draft title objection letters and objection responses.
• Prepare initial drafts of contract amendments, property deeds, and closing documents.
• Obtain client organizational documents and coordinate the preparation of entity consents and resolutions for closings.
• Finalize title and closing documents; prepare closing instruction letters and facilitate obtaining signatures and delivery of documents to meet closing requirements in a timely manner.
• Communicate and liaise with clients, title companies, surveyors, outside counsel, and paralegals.
• Facilitate the final closing and completion of real estate transactions.
• Track, review and confirm completion of post-closing items, including title endorsements.
• Prepare and distribute closing binders in client’s preferred format.

Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated experience in Calendar Management
• Expertise in Commercial Real Estate and Corporate Real Estate
• Knowledgeable in Real Estate - Leasing and Title and Survey documents
• Experience in handling Real Estate Contracts
• Familiarity with Real estate financing and Real Estate Leases
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Paralegal
• Paralegal Certificate preferred and/or Bachelor's Degree
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must possess a keen eye for detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent knowledge of legal documentation and terminology
• Must be proactive and take initiative.
