Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient execution of accounting policies and procedures. You will manage transaction processing areas, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. This role will require interaction with all functional areas of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily accounting functions of two legal entities, including journal entries, general ledger analysis, fixed assets, expense analysis, and bank transactions.

• Perform month-end activities by the closing schedule – journal entry preparation, results analysis, GL account reconciliations, verification, and production of financial statements and management reports.

• Assist in the coordination and completion of annual financial audits.

• Provide guidance, direction, and hands-on support for accounting and operations personnel.

• Assist in establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

• Make recommendations to improve systems and procedures.

• Produce ad-hoc accounting reports as requested.

• Perform other accounting-related duties as required.

• Utilize Oracle Enterprise Business System software for various tasks.

• Demonstrate proficiency in analysis and review of financial statements.

• Use Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, for various tasks.

• Manage supply chain and inventory.

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a Senior Accountant

• Solid understanding and practical experience with full cycle accounting processes.

• Proficiency in using Oracle or similar financial software.

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent numerical skills and ability to work with complex numerical data.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of accounting.
