Robert Half is hiring for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Associate to join our client's finance team! The Accounts Payable Associate will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Responsibilities:
Enter invoices received from the parts department into the accounting system accurately and efficiently.
Process monthly utility bills and ensure timely payments.
Match and code invoices with appropriate general ledger accounts.
Conduct check runs and prepare payments to vendors in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Post transactions to the general ledger and reconcile accounts as needed.
Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist in month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
1-2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a dealership or automotive industry.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
