Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Plant Controller for a permanent role within a reputable manufacturing organization. This person will have a great opportunity to partner with the new and exciting leadership team in strategic decision making, as well as overseeing the accounting team for this Wisconsin plant.
Some duties of this role include:
Ensure the plant accounting records are kept in good order.
Oversee accounting procedures and practices, approve journal entries, purchase orders, and ensure costs are booked to proper accounts. Oversee monthly close, budgeting, forecasting.
Ensure proper internal controls procedures are followed at the plant.
Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within manufacturing environment.
• BS in Accounting or related field is required.
• Cost Accounting experience required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Solid technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite, and familiarity with various financial software and databases.
