Description
Robert Half is currently accepting applications for an achievement-oriented Assistant Controller to join a well-respected company. This Assistant Controller role reports to the Controller and manages the accounting staff. If you are a self-starter with a proven ability to identify issues and resolve problems, this is the Assistant Controller role for you!
What you get to do every day
Pinpoint and develop process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency
Compose diverse procedures, policies, and technical accounting analyses
Support the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting
Backfill for Controller as required
Provide regular account reconciliation to completion
Review and establish Ad Hoc financial reports
Uphold to ensure a competent, trained staff through development, regular assessment, and goal setting
Well-developed preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have CPG industry or product related industry experience.
