Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure accuracy of data entry.
Verify and reconcile time and attendance records for hourly and salaried employees.
Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide excellent customer service.
Assist with payroll reporting, including preparing and analyzing payroll reports.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures.
Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure compliance.
Assist with special payroll projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in payroll processing or related field.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
