Description
Robert Half Finance and Accounting is partnering with a local Construction type company seeking an Assistant Controller.
The Assistant Controller should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of experience.
The Assistant Controller should have management experience as this person will have 2-4 direct reports.
The Assistant Controller should be a forward thinker and want to grow and learn.
Any Assistant Controller with experience in Construction, real estate, manufacturing is a plus!

Requirements
5+ years of general ledger accounting experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and IIA standards
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Month end closings experience
Expertise in budget forecasting
