Description
Robert Half, on behalf of our esteemed client, is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. Our client is a reputable law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation and is looking to add a talented professional with 0-3 years of experience, licensed with the Virginia State Bar.
Responsibilities:
Assist in various aspects of the litigation process, including case development, legal research, and the drafting of pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to formulate and execute effective case strategies.
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and depositions.
Prepare for and attend court proceedings as necessary.
Maintain clear and concise communication with clients and opposing counsel.
Conduct thorough legal research and analyze insurance policies, contracts, and relevant laws to provide informed legal counsel.
Evaluate case strengths and weaknesses, offering recommendations to senior attorneys.
Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on case developments and addressing any inquiries.
Foster positive client relationships.
Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues on complex cases to achieve favorable outcomes.
Contribute to a cooperative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Bar admission in the state of Virginia.
0-3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
Strong research and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
