Sr. Accountant
Our client, located in Farmington Hills, MI is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has a strong Accounting background, is detail oriented and has great communication skills.
The day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Conduct Balance Sheet Reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
Maintain and manage General Ledger entries
Prepare and review Journal Entries for financial transactions
Oversee Month End Close processes to ensure timely completion
Manage Fixed Assets, including depreciation and disposals
Handle Prepaids, including amortization and tracking of expenses
Oversee Lease accounting, including recognition of lease expenses and liabilities
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
