Description

Robert Half is seeking a FP& A Manager for our well-respected client! The FP& A Manager must be able to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once, as well as excellent analytical capabilities and strong verbal and writing skills. Your responsibilities

  • Direct and lead financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts

  • Inform strategic and day-to-day decisions by analyzing financials

  • Provide key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions

  • Estimate costs of operating plans and then develop budget and forecasts during the annual budget development cycle

  • Address and improve strategic issues by working in cross-functional development teams

  • Support financial deliverables to the executive team

  • Oversee and manage financial planning team operations

  • Conduct financial analysis and valuation related to mergers and acquisitions

  • Prepare financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis

  • Analyze financials for the forecasting and corporate budgeting processes

  • Help with regulatory filings

  • Examine fiscal and budget assumptions in the development of operating plans

  • Manage staff by recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees

    Requirements

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative abilities

  • 8+ years of experience in FP& A required

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships

  • High level of business acumen

  • 2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

  • Advanced knowledge of computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages

  • Will consider candidates directly from public accounting for this role!

  • Possess skill set to successfully analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
