Description Robert Half is working with a client in Fort Worth that is looking for Senior Systems Engineer on a contract / contract to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years' experience in a Systems Engineer/Administrator role with working knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
POSITION: SYSTEMS ENGINEER LOCATION: FORT WORTH DURATION: 6 MONTH contract / contract to permanent SALARY: 110K-120K
RESPONSIBILITIES Manage infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, monitoring, and backup/restores Responsible for on-prem technologies physical and virtual servers, SAN Will support acquisitions including configurations, monitoring and preventative maintenance Daily responsibilities include supporting application and operation teams with real-time production/test environments Requirements Windows Server – specifically experience with Server configuration PowerShell – writing scripts or editing pre-written scripts. Azure – deploying servers in Azure; experience with Azure services Active Directory - including GPO VMware vSphere Operations Manager vMotion Azure Cloud experience is a plus Terraform experience is a plus (or any automation tool) Avamar/HYCU is a plus Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
