Robert Half Project Assistant in Hayward, California
Description
Hayward construction client is in need of a contract to hire project administrator. Duties include:
• Support a busy Production Team, specifically a Destructive Testing team
• Excellent Customer Service is a critical component of this position
• Setup, organize and track RFP/DT/LIT/ Job Files: digital & physical
• Prepare submittal packages
• Track RFIs & Change Orders
• Generate contracts subcontracts and procure subcontractor certificates of insurance
• Upload and organize job photos from the field
• Prepare Project Closeout submittals/binders
• Work closely with legal teams on confidential matters
• Good organization and time management skills
• Ability to work & think independently in a very busy office environment
• Technical Software Proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
The hours are Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.
Requirements
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
Demonstrated knowledge of proposals and RFPs
Experience with Invoice Processing
General familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of construction
Foundational knowledge in Construction Projects
Adeptness in Code Invoices
Proficiency in Construction Industry Experience
Command of Construction Documents
Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets
Proficient with database and file management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
1 year of business/office experience at minimums
