Robert Half Supply Chain Customer Support Specialist in Hayward, California

Description We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Inventory Clerk to join our team in Hayward, California. This role involves managing hospital inventory control, maintaining a working relationship with various stakeholders, and ensuring efficient data entry and inventory management. The position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, promising a dynamic work environment in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and control hospital peri-operative inventory to ensure smooth operations

• Maintain constructive working relationships with administration, surgeons, staff, support services, vendors, logistics, and purchasing teams

• Understand and cater to the needs of clinical and non-clinical staff

• Execute proficient data entry and utilize a variety of software applications for entering, accessing, and maintaining related information

• Work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, and quality

• Promote a positive work environment by practicing good communication, diversity awareness, and teamwork

• Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental mission statements and safety and infection prevention policies

• Keep all work and break areas in a neat, clean, and organized condition

• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer inquiries

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Requirements • Prior experience in an inventory management role is desired

• Proficient in data entry and inventory controls

• Skilled in logistics and coordinating with vendors

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with various departments

• Ability to perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately

• Knowledge of inventory software and databases is a plus

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
