What you get to do every single day
Direct all billing and reporting activities in accordance to deadlines
Control inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence
Register all customer payments to the correct reports
Abide by all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act
Oversee and update customer files to ensure data accuracy
Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment
Accurately process bankruptcy filings when received
Act as a company representative in upholding quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries
Guarantee the processing of payments
Requirements
AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience
Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
Prior experience working with accounting software
Ability to analyze and make decisions on customer accounts
Deep understanding of Commercial Collections
Commercial collections experience required
General familiarity with Fast Paced Call Center
Credit collections experience highly desired
B2B collections experience desired
Proven knowledge of call centers
Well-founded grasp of Call Center Customer Service
Collections management experience
Practical knowledge of High Volume Call Center
