Robert Half Voice Analyst in Holland, Ohio

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Telecommunications Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for provisioning and maintaining VoIP related products, and you will serve as an escalation point of technical support for our national voice services platform. This position is remote and requires the ability to multitask and work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities: • Serve as a primary escalation path for field agents with VoIP related dispatches and trouble tickets. • Monitor network devices, interfaces, and trouble tickets, providing continuous monitoring for problems impacting our customers' voice services. • Troubleshoot issues with our voice services and update call paths. • Contact carriers and vendors to open new trouble tickets, schedule dispatches, and stay up to date on existing trouble tickets. • Receive incoming calls and respond to emails regarding service troubles or call path changes. • Respond to customers in an expeditious and detail oriented manner. • Coordinate proper installation and configuration of voice service components. • Maintain active communication with our customers, on-site technicians, carrier service providers, and work directly with our Technical Support Engineers and VoIP Engineers to support and troubleshoot our voice platforms. • Ensure all tickets and jobs are handled quickly and accurately from start to finish. • Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain VoIP systems.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Telecommunications Specialist with a minimum of 1 year in the field

• Proficiency in Cisco Voice Over Internet (VoIP) and similar VoIP technologies

• Solid understanding of IP Telephony and Telephony System

• Familiarity with Network Operation Center operations

• Basic troubleshooting skills in a telecommunications environment

• Knowledge of ISDN and SIP protocols

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to resolve customer service issues

• Demonstrated commitment to delivering superior customer service

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations

• Relevant certification in Telecommunications or related field would be advantageous Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
