Description
We are providing an opportunity for a Help Desk Technician in the Healthcare, located ONSITE in HONOLULU, Hawaii. The role primarily entails offering support to operations, maintaining systems data management, providing IT support, and ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain systems data management, including worklist management
• Monitor performance of servers and network components to support 24/7 operations
• Provide IT support to staff workstation hardware and software
• Adhere to system workflow and standards in line with the company's guidelines
• Perform guidance on system upgrades and maintenance to the IT Team whenever necessary
• Test and support operational digital imaging and ancillary systems, including operating systems, networking, software, and system administration
• Analyze and monitor system performance and make proactive recommendations for improvement and stability
• Troubleshoot, repair, or communicate with system vendors to repair imaging stations
• Recommend changes in workflow communications and provide quality assurance checks to ensure that standard practices are followed
• Remotely troubleshoot and repair software-related problems or issues upon request for areas of responsibility for potentially multiple facilities
This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Requirements
• Basic to intermediate skills in network troubleshooting
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues effectively
• Familiarity with Virtual Private Network (VPN) operations
• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on resolving customer issues efficiently
• Proficient in data entry tasks, with high accuracy and speed
• Experience with imaging devices, including desktop imaging
• Sound knowledge of computer hardware and software, including MS Office 365
• Understanding of radiology procedures and protocols
• Ability to apply patches to resolve software issues
• Familiarity with firewall configurations and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in MS Build for software development tasks
• Experience in managing computer databases
• Basic to intermediate computer programming skills
• Understanding of computer systems and their applications
• Degree in Computer Science Information System or related field is preferred.
