Robert Half Business Analyst in Houston, Texas
Description We are offering a job opportunity for a Business Analyst in Houston, Texas, United States. The candidate will be tasked with supporting our teams with staff augmentation on a variety of major project efforts. This role requires flexibility in working hours each week, and excellent communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver project functional support for custom applications
• Analyze complex business problems and offer solutions using various tools and applications
• Develop user guides, write functional specifications for changes and enhancements, and report bugs
• Develop reports for internal and external customers, write/perform routine SQL queries for data extraction
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
• Perform requirements analysis and define objectives and scope of work
• Follow IT procedures for system configuration and system testing
• Ensure all application changes follow the IT change management process
• Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
• Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the process or system
• Serve as a liaison between developers and end users
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is necessary
• Experience with Database management and EO/IR systems is required
• Capability to perform Gap Analysis effectively
• Familiarity with Informatica is essential
• Must have experience in AB Testing
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology is required
• Understanding of Business Process Functions is necessary
• Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents
• Design related skills are essential
